Okay, if you really feel more comfortable with the standard error message, here’s a copy to set your mind at ease.

Think of this page as a kinder, gentler, face-saving, affirming alternative to that annoying, ego-deflating  HTTP 404 – File Not Found error message that leaves you wondering what went wrong and whether the Internet really cares about you as an individual.

If you arrived at this page, it’s either because you mistyped the URL of a particular page OR (if you were sent here by clicking a link) there was an error in the code “behind” the link.  Yes, we’re admitting that we might be the ones at fault. You see, we’re in the process of upgrading the entire site to a new format, and as careful as we try to be, “accidents will happen.” (Our Webmaster has a big heart and volunteers his time, but he has big thumbs, too—ten or eleven of them, from the looks of some of the stuff he types sometimes. If you think you've discovered a bad link on the Finest of the Wheat site, do drop the Webmaster a line, but please don’t call him “Ten Thumbs,” because he’s sensitive about his sausage-sized digits, and, after all, he is trying.)  No, it’s not because the site servers are “down,” because you wouldn’t be seeing this message if that were the case. You can’t blame it on the Internet this time!

Anyway, don’t worry.  Everything that’s available on this web site can be found through the Navigation Menu in the upper left-hand side of this page.  Somebody worked extra hard on those fly-out menus so that you wouldn’t have to worry about typing.  As an added bonus, we’ve thrown in (absolutely free!) a link to our comprehensive Site Map.

That’s it, other than to say that I doubt there’s another error message anywhere—HTTP 404 or otherwise—that will end by wishing you God’s richest blessing on your day today!
